I received payment for this today. I am just glad it was only for one search and not a big time amount. I have my own problems myself getting folks I deal with directly to pay me period, much less in a timley fashion. Needless to say if I hear from Mr. Miller again, which I doubt, I may ask for payment up front. Which is what he should be doing to the big client that won't pay him. It was almost right at 60 days from date that I completed and billed for the search. I suspect if I hadn't paid a utitlity company in 60 days my service would have been cut off. But then  we aren't a utility company are we?  We are only lowly abstractors...the very bottom of this food chain, lucky to get any form of payment so it seems.
