Carla, sorry you are having this problem. Servicelink is actually one of our best clients. Why aren't we experiencing your issues? First, I NEVER fill out another company's forms--ever. I spent too much in time creating my computerized form to go back to writing dribble long-hand. Second, I NEVER change prices except UP. If a company doesn't like it, they can go on down the road. They recently contacted me and decided they didn't want to pay for deeds anymore, they wanted it included. My fee went up $15. We regularly get 10+ page deeds here in SC, so I had to cover myself. When she screamed, I calmly advised her that she could pay the extra money or pay for the pages of the deed as usual, her choice. She tried the, I give you volume work and you should be grateful tone and my husband, who was the person--unfortunately for her--that took the call told her, he wasn't hurting for business so she could send us work--or not, he wouldn't even notice, just to let us know which invoice option she preferred. We're still getting work....
