I didn't mean to step on anyones toes. Suffice it to say that we were likely on different sides in our youth. You were fighting for what you believed in and I can admire you for that. I'm sure we lived through vastly different experiences during that time. But my comments were not about either of our experiences from 40 years ago.

Neither was I apologizing for what we may have done during that time. It is the last 40 years that concern me. Nixon hasn't been around for a long time but I believe some of the leaders from our generation have done more to harm the reputation of this country in the past 20 years than Nixon ever did.

I agree with you that Nixon's government was bad, but I don't see the sense in blaming Nixon for what happened after our generation took over.
