I believe that BOA has entered into a buy out agreement of Countrywide- at least that is what CNBC is reporting.
And Jay, the price of Countrywide stock did not seem to harm the top dog that sold his lot back a few months ago for a nice bit of change- odd how these top dogs all seem to know when their company is doing so well that they can afford to "sell" and not get hurt by the ensuing downfall of their companies. I do wish I had sold all the stock in my company back a few years ago - I could have been in a nice sunny place relaxing now!! (that of course , is all a pipe dream!) I would probably have to be "ethically challenged" to pull that off. It might even take on a familiar look like "outsourcing" to a place that saves that company tons of money, today, but not tomorrow, but then those guys will be gone by then.
