Katrina, I beg to differ with your theory,
however I have done several searches recently
that after a diligent check of the records the
people that were foreclosed on had no right
to mortgage the property (Needless to say this one
did not close). I did another one
that had $164,000. in federal tax liens that were
not picked up. I imagine the biggest foreclosure law firm in
Atlanta was not happy to have to pay them.
We appreciate your opinion, however usually a
title search is not ordered until the appraisal is
done and the figures are in line anyway.
I guess we would just be wasting our breath if we
told you how many loans didn't close because
"Grandpa heired the property to me."
