Property Insights is in Towson, MD.  Their phone number is 410-825-4435.  They charge $12.00 for each name you want run for judgments/liens, and you can have them search either just the county courts or both Federal and County Courts.  They do not cover all of Maryland, but most of it.  They will send you a list of what they found, if you want any more information you will still have to go to the applicable courthouse to get it.  Their search includes criminal, civil, bankruptcy  - you name it.  Downside is you have to make some educated choices about what you actually want to look at.  For example,  it's unlikely that an adoption matter would impact on real estate, but a state tax lien would certainly be worth checking out!  If you don't have social security numbers, it's a pain the the patootie.  One the other hand, their response time is phenomenal, and they are extermely pleasant to work with.  In most courthouses you can get the same information on the local computer their, but if you've got a common name PI is much faster.  Hope this helps!
