Best of luck with the campaign, David.  I think we would definitely be benefited by having "title people" in those public offices.  Someone who actually understands what we do with those records and the importance of properly maintaining them.

As for your position on the on-line records.  Its a step in the right direction.  I do not like to see them available on the Internet at all.  I think David Bloys has some very valid points.  However, if they are going to be on-line, better to make that decision with some foresight and get the SSNs removed first.
