Ameristar has been a client of mine for many years and has been timely on their payments. I have never experienced problems receiving payment from Ameristar nor have I experienced problems contacting the accounting department, for everyone seems to be quite receptive. I have worked with Ameristar for a number of years now and find them to be quite honest and able to provide searches in volume. Some corporations experience monetary hardship or even make administrative decisions to shift or even eliminate resources that maybe hindering their operation to obtain the cashflow necessary to be profitable and to pay their abstractors, I don't believe this is the case here. "Patience is a virtue" is definitely applicable in this case, however I do understand the concerns of the abstracting community because our operating capital is nowhere near large corporations so we as abstractors have to make decisions which will not jepordize our operations, in some cases it means refusing work until paid. Refusing orders can also be detrimental to the relationship between abstractor and companies such as Ameristar for I believe Ameristar is monetarily strong enough to get everyone paid, AND IN A TIMELY MANNER, just talk to the accounting department. I usually communicate over the phone instead of e-mails because of the quick response time and effectiveness of the correspondence, just a thought.
Good luck!
