In January, I hired one of my former college professors who was retiring to work for my company. He was career Navy and then after that 1st retirement became a professor of geography. He had to stop working for me in August because he has terminal cancer. It is DIRECTLY related to radiation exposure he suffered while serving in the Navy. I feel proud to have known him. I am thankful that he served in my stead. I am now aware that not all the causalties of war happen on the battlefield or even during the war they were fighting.
