For the record...pertaining to
I am owed (by my accounting - w/o late fees etc.) $5,077
Jim's AP has reconciled out $4,300 as far back as Jan of '06...
I still have about $800 or so owed from 2005...which their AP has yet to reconcile...
Jim's AP person wanted to start reconciling 2005 with me...I wanted to move beyond and put this behind me...
I asked Jim's AP person to find out if we could settle on $4K ($300 less than what is currently reconciled and $1,077 less than my AR) and call it a day...I asked her (in a most polite way and most polite terms) to find out if we could come up with a settlement...and if we could not I said that I believe my best course of action would most likely be a legal course of action....
To say I was demanding payment in full (which I think I do have every right to btw and I should be getting in full with interest) was incorrect...I was looking to turn the corner on this with a settlement so as not to waste more time and more effort on all of our parts...and to just move on...
When CRSI's was flying high they were not great payers...whether it is the threat of suit or actual suit why wouldn't I use it as leverage to get paid. I have no other lever to work with at this point and my time is my money whether it is reconciling, posting or viewing forums, or calling and calling and calling CRSI. I want to end this and I am willing to take less to call it a day.
Jim's own VP said suing may be my best option since he said he had no answers for me on how to get paid...
For all its worth...
Ted
