Hi Angelica... yes it can be mobile. We have used it with an adapter in the car and because it is so small we have taken it in to the clerks office and plugged it in. It is about 11"wide 5"deep and 4" tall. You can scan 35-40 pages easily. The company says it scans 50 but the most I have tried has been 40. We really like this little machine and have been using it for about a year now. We purchased it on the recommendation of another SOT person and have not regretted our decision.
