Thank you Lori & Lisa for not thinking I am  wishy-washy.  I wasn't really worried.     
We all have our own opinions regarding any given situation.  I am sure that there will be times that I state MY feelings on a subject & I hope that everyone will accept those statements as mine & not NALTEA's.  If I am given permission to speak for NALTEA I will always let you know. 
I do not read Lynn's comments as being dismissive of the idea of abstractors writing their own title insurance.  She was merely giving her point of view as to NALTEA being the vehicle used to accomplish this.  She is allowed to her opinions just as any other abstractor, be they NALTEA member, NALTEA board member, or those choosing not to be a part of NALTEA.  I am sure that the other board members have their opinions also.  They also have a right to express them.  I can assure you that any thing that is brought to the board is always discussed before any vote is tallied. 
I have a hard time understanding the animosity for NALTEA.  We don't have all the answers.  We are just abstractors like everyone else, trying to stay alive in these difficult times.  This is the path we have chosen to try to make a difference.  Everyone has to make the decision as to what they think is best for them.  I respect your decisions, and I would hope that you respect mine.
