He made a comment about how little of the premium money is actually paid out in claims.  We had Malcolm Morris, the CEO of Stewart in our office a few weeks ago and he shared this statistic with us:  The nationwide average among title underwriters is one claim per thousand policies.  Five claims per thousand policies will bankrupt the entire industry.  It's a delicate field, and it all each person at each level, from searching to closing, being 100% (or at least 99.9%) accurate.
