Well if the statute of limitations is only 3 years to extend to a possible 5 years, then I guess we will have to check backwards just for that amount of years for any type of medicaid lien which really isn't that much of a time period to be responsible for.  I haven't heard about this in my state - anyone in Texas heard about this?  I would think this would be federal statute though and apply in all states.
