Well I've been visiting with a woman at various courthouses and her husband has a PhD in something (I can't remember).  She said he has been laid off at various places over the last, I think she said 10 years.  As she put it read, "American Scam" - read www.newswithviews.com/Wooldridge/frosty52.htm.  The corporate world is bringing over India workers to replace other workers, such as her husband.  She has befriended one of these newly arrived workers and found that they are also deceived to come over here.  That they are told they will make all this money and they don't - they end up giving them a salary of 1/2 of what they pay the American workers and they get stuck here.  She said there is a major investigation into these practices right now from our government - so maybe there is hope.
