Good to hear from you again!  We will update the work if they provide us a title policy, or other evidence to go from.  Our charge does not change, since it is about the same amount of work involved and we aren't accepting any liability from the previous search.  I always hope that if we are getting updates from someone else's work, it is a sign that we are going to get their searches in the future too.

The only thing I don't like is updating from someone else's search notes.  Often times other examiners notes are difficult to figure out.  We write out everything and print neatly, often we have trouble following other people's sloppy work.  I'm usually amazed that the work was acceptable to the client.  Maybe it wasn't and that is why they are sending it to us.
