I received one of these orders also, and when I called
to clarify, I was told to start from the current owner and
show any open mortgages from that point.  When I asked
if they wanted judgments searched I was told no.  I did the
search the way I was told, but also included who I spoke to,
at what time I called, and exactly what I was told to search.
I did not receive any more orders of that type. 
(Now it worries me!)
