I did not know that most of Red Visions records were taken from the counties without consent.  I will be contacting you David for all your information and I have one great ear that will be eager to hear it if the material is well written in the legal form.  Especially, if it is written so to prove a breach in National Defense Security. 

Also, I will personally give it to all my county commissioners during their meeting especially since the meetings are publicly broadcast on a local government television station.

When I was in Georgetown, SC, the Registrar came to me with a letter from one of the companies that she knew I recorded for.  The letter was addressed to her asking that her records be provided for them in a format that she did not even have the medium to provide and there was a hint of if you do not provide them to us we can obtain them by seeking legal action to acquire them.  She was asking me what she should do about that letter.  I told her DENY them access and stand your ground.  She said that she would forward the letter to the Attorney General's office because she didn't think that she had the right to turn over the records to anyone.  This was two years ago and I moved away so I don't know the end of the story.

Little did we (the abstractors) know the price we would pay for online data.  So you are probably right that a few years from now the title industry (the lenders) will be saying... Little did we know the price we would pay for 2 hour online $25.00 title searches.
