We use DocuXplorer.  It is a very robust application allowing for quick access over a network and simultaneous users.  They have a 30-day free trial.  That was what sold me.  I was able to really check it out before I decided to spend the money on it. 

I would suggest that abstractors check out Quest Xpress from Integrated Imaging, also.  This is a nice solution because it allows your clients to place orders online and it also provides Internet access to your files.  You can check your back-up from anywhere you have Internet access.  I'm not sure what there fee structure is like, but I think it is transactional based so you don't have the large upfront costs of buying software, you just pay a small fee for each order that is entered.  They don't have any specific information on their Website, but if you contact them, just ask for info on Quest Xpress and I'm sure they will send you something.
