We've instituted a no find/trip fee for no finds (ie, they ordered it in the wrong county and sent us on a wild goose chase) and for additional attempts to record documents that have been previously rejected at the Court because they weren't prepared correctly.  Doesn't help all that much, but it's a little and at least compensates us for unecessary trips somewhat.
