I spoke with a gentleman, I believe in the Omaha office. He said that he was just transferred to this position and he was calling to speak with me about doing deed retrievals for $10, includes copies. I was so upset by the phone call that I have forgotten his name. I have been doing searches for American Title for several years. I have spoken with other abstractors that charge $20-$25 for deed retrievals, I only charged $15 (that was the "cap" that they said that they had at American Title). I can not see going any lower and another abstractor told me I was crazy for charging that little.

Are you familiar with this change that they are trying to implement?
