It's just the nature of the work out here in the boonies. As for as population base or potential business, my 47 counties probably only equal to one or two of the counties you serve. One of my counties only has a total population of a little over 600.

I wasn't really thinking of Robert's proposal of a marketing company when I wrote the last post. I was thinking of all that SOT already offers for both the abstractors and their clients. I just don't see how Lenders-America expects to build much of a datatbase of abstractors charging  $50 a county. I wish them well, but I don't think I will sign up unless I see a list of members that would make a decent directory. Visiting their site left me with more questions about what they want to become than what they are now.
