my company's SOT description and used it as their own. We created our company philosophy over three years ago, and it is on all of our marketing materials and other literature. This company has paraphrased, and at some points, quoted, verbatim, the exact words that we have used to market our company. We have already contacted our attorney, and he has told us that since this material has been published on SOT and in other marketing materials, it is intellectual property owned by our company.
This is so frustrating!!!! We have put a lot of time and effort into creating marketing materials and our company's philosophy, only to have it stolen by a company that is located just a few miles away from where we practice. I have already sent the company an email requesting that it change its SOT description, but I'm afraid that it may have used our content in other materials it has distrubuted. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Have a great day!
