Accoding to the article Virginia resident Betty "BJ" Ostergren, a sef-described privacy watchdog mailed hundreds of letters to individual in King, William, Scott and Warren counties. Each person received a list of personal details about him or her that Ostergren had culled from the Internet. The reponse was outrage, she says.
