It sounds like a step in the right direction. It is going to be interesting to see if it withstands constitutional challenge if the federal government has pre-empted this area for exclusive federal regulation or if the Florida amendment violates federal laws enacted to enable NAFTA. If Florida enacts amendment 5, it makes the state fertle territory to market alternate ways to market cost cutting measures to the title companies and promote the services of our searchers, signing agents, etc.
