I just read that post... how rude! I can see $10,000 getting racked up pretty quick. I had a company go under owing me over $6,000 and it wasn't one of my biggest clients.

It adds up because... you do 30 days of work before you send a bill, 30 days more before its due, 15 more days before you realize there is a problem, and probably 15 more before before you quit buying "the check's in the mail" routine. That is 3 months of work you have done before you finally stop doing their work and begin to try and figure out how it happened and what you are going to do.
