This outsourcing thing is making me nuts!!!! I just found out today why it is that my workload had dramatically dropped with a company I have been with for a very long time..and a company I respect...found out about the outsourcing, put 2 and 2 together. I asked a couple of other companies if they plan on doing this...BIG companies, and hear that it's "in the air" hence, a distinct possibility. On one hand, I feel that it's not the other countries' fault that their pricing is cheaper and therefore they get the work......On the other hand, why is our countries' money going to another country for jobs well within our realm of capability?!?!? OK, so other countries have the oil we need, and we must buy from them...understood....BUT, why do we need to send out the work we are more than capable of doing here? I feel this is the begining of a "slippery slope" which leads our own country into financial trouble. So, these few bucks saved on each search here and there aren't worth the trouble will may very well see in the future because of these choices. Along those lines, I have been considering joining NAELTA and was curious as to what may be achieved by such a group to fight this downhill slide?
