We are sympathetic to your concerns, but we expect that the vast majority of reviews will be positive.  I think most people feel good about rewarding people who have served them well, and that will be motivation enough to spend a minute or two to honor the good service with a positive review.  We'd like to see the review system catch on to the point where leaving a positive review for a good company becomes routine, such as is the case with Ebay's rating system for transactions.
