Thank you Kevin. I did ask someone here in California who actually does not live that far from me. She told me that a current owner search can be any where from $10 to $90. I have decided that I will stick to the middle of the road... $45. Does this sound reasonable? I am puzzled as to why such a broad range but would guess it has to do with title searches that are being by title plants. Is this correct?
