I don't see how that made them stop their low pricing! If the volume was that high and if they were sent 10 searches a day they would be making $1250 per week! Hardly an incentive to stop their lowball pricing..if they received more work then they could have hired some help at $8 per hour and had a nice little business!
I am not condoning low ball pricing..but everyone was a newbie at one time and had to start somewhere. I just see both sides of the issue. It seems a lot of people in this business are VERY VERY proprietary to say the least e.g the look you get when you go into a strange county from the examiners who are working there already. They act like you are some big threat and they own the county..when it's really open to the public..ala Public Records!
