Source of Title Forums: Re: Companies not paying

I would be cautious with filing a lien. Many states do not permit such liens and attempting to file one could get you sued for slander of title. Please get some legal advice before you attempt to file a lien on someone's property - especially if it is a homeowner and NOT the person who owes you your fee.
