hi, the reason ,(other than it is just a needed service in rural maine) i became a notary is to do witness closings, as well. i charge $100 to $150 for this service. havent done too many, but it is an appreciated service. i've never charged a person to do ordinary notary work. although i did plan on charging here or there to recover the money i put out for the test, and the stamp, and notary documentation journal.
to change the subject, hasn't anyone any stories of getting ripped off??????particularly by atlanta title assurance??? i know i keep mentioning this company, but there is a reason, and a plan. thanks, monica-from-maine
