Oddly enough, just over the past week I've had 2 issues come up with properties I completed current owner searches on several years ago. The properties have recently gone into foreclosure and in both cases there were actually outstanding title issues from  BEFORE the current owner received title.  The title companies have come back to me for additional research in helping resolve  issues I would not have searched in the first place.  I was wondering if anyone has had this same experience? Obviously it is  a bit frustrating, especially having to spend additional time on something that was outside the scope of what  you were paid to do.
