Insight Title Company, LLC, sister company of Kozeny & McCubbin, L.C., is devoted to providing convenient and professional closing services to home buyers, real estate agents, lenders, and brokers. The companies are currently seeking an ABSTRACTOR / SALES CRIER to work in the Springfield, MO area.

The primary responsibility of the ABSTRACTOR / SALES CRIER position is to conduct foreclosure sales for Kozeny & McCubbin, L.C. The individual in this position will also perform title searches and make determinations on what does and does not affect title to a property. The successful candidate for this position will be innovative in their approach to locating property information.

Essential Abstractor / Sales Crier responsibilities will be to:

• Drive to and conduct foreclosure sales in the Springfield area
• Track publications of sales to ensure accurate information has been posted
• Manage tax sales and outstanding issues associated with delinquent taxes for upcoming sales
• Search deed and judgment records using various software and websites
• Update title and judgment searches
• Obtain copies of deeds and judgments as necessary
• Transmit updates to appropriate parties (clients, closer, etc.)

Minimum requirements include:

• Prior abstracting experience is required; prior sales crying experience is preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions
• Excellent time-management, organizational and communication skills
• High school diploma plus 2+ years' general office experience; bachelor's degree, preferred

The person in this position will report to management in the St. Louis office, and will be expected to perform their duties in the Springfield area with a high degree of independence and personal responsibility.
