Is it me ??? ,  am I the only one left who belives that good solid abstraction work  and turn around times should not be sold for $ 4.25 a search.? I recently had a client tell me that they can get a Florida current owner done for $ 4.25 a search  from an overseas vendor. I was ready to pull my hair out. I know times are tough , but really, are we going to cut each others throats and then let the remaining search work get outsourced to another country. Seems now is the time for a reality check for all of us. We  can  all start  to offer a standized rate per state that we adhere to and all make money , or we can cut the throats of each other for penny per search, and then let all the work get outsouced.  I am not stating lets start a union  , but a standard pricing for the industry would be helpful to all of us.  Scary times for abstractors and vendors alike when we all could be outsourced because of competition from overseas.
