I have heard this from other abstractors - what I don't get is, how is this new?  Even the title requests I get from other law firms - they only send if it can't be done but courthouse level.  Accurate Group does this.  PNA Title does it.  I thought it was the current trend - I do tons of doc retrievals for some of these companies and then other weeks won't have one for a month.  I just don't see how this is a "new" thing.  By the way, I have worked for Title Wave and I have never gotten just a doc retrieve from them - I have got the whole search :)
