Title Wave is a software program used by Fidelity Title for their agency support unit. In Virginia they use independent examiners like me for title work, but they do have some house examiners.  A completed search is then sent to India where a TSR (Title Search Report) is typed.  The typed product is in a format similar to a commitment enabling an underwriter to copy and paste the information into the commitment. To my knowledge India does not do search work.

The Fidelity employees I work with are professional, knowledgeable and helpful.  They are a significant portion of my business. I also work with agency support units for other title companies. I encourage you to seek out the vendor managers for these agency support units. You may have a slight decrease in per unit search fee, but I suspect you will have increased volume. If they are new to your area, then they need experienced reliable examiners.
