[-] Only Fannie Mae's Title Company willing to insure their foreclosure, how well will it protect me? - Jimmy Fig/MA (8 replies)

I am buying a Fannie REO Homepath property, and no title insurance will issue policy because of unusual description on deed and possibly invalid foreclosure proceeding.. Fannie's title company is will to amend their seller's policy for me as a buyer and insure me under it so I can now get a mortgage and buy the property.. I intend to do Quiet Title after I buy it.. is this plan something you have seen people do?
