Remote Online Notary (RON) Closings have been approved across much of the US in various state statutes.  And they are here to stay. The pandemic is pushing the issue faster than we expected. ALTA, MBA, MISMO and others have agreed on a format and standardization and its been approved in at least 23 states as of 2019 and FNMA and FHLMC are quickly falling in step.
