So I was searching a friends tract. I saw a recently recorded UCC. ( he's 80) He told me he took a small loan for a car from one of these internet loan companies. i.e. - Best Egg. The UCC said it was for cabinets, lighting, .. things that fix to the property. Therefore - they can record a UCC. Now I'm not sure if they told him they were going to do that or "encouraged" him to say that. He couldn't remember. I do know he told them it was to buy a car.  I just found another one in a search I was doing on a residential search.  Anyone else seeing these? Also - is this legal? They are clever in how they are guaranteeing they get paid back by putting a lien on the property.
