Has anyone threatened, or does anyone actually charge a fee for refaxing work that's already been faxed or emailed, confirmed and filed away? I have a doc retrieval customer that routinely sends me lists of 20 or 30 doc retrievals that are "missing" even though I KNOW each fax or email went through. Normally, I just ignore their status lists because if I wait a few days the orders magically appear on someone's desk. A few weeks ago, I suggested that I was going to start charging a fee for finding and refaxing these orders, but today I got a list of 30 orders that were done in September. This could easily take an hour to find the files, refax or email everything and file everything back again. I don't really think this is justified with a $15 doc retrieval fee. Any thoughts?
