1. Which way do you prefer this occupation title spelled? (I always have seen both. Seems in PA, "or" is the norm)

The predominant spelling around here seems to be 'abstractor', however, according to Merriam-Webster either is acceptable.

2. On average, how long do you find it taking you or your staff members to extract information from public land records; based on one full search? (Just the time to extract info, not typing reports)
A full search, completed according to the local bar standards, takes us around 2 hours on average. A very easy search may only take an hour, a very complex search may take 4 hours, or more.
