I think it is spelled Corpus Chrisi, but your close enough. I've always been amazed at how much our forefathers traveled when the only way they had of getting around was horse or wagon. I think this was the case everywhere in America. Many of the men who died at the Alamo were from Tennesee and Kentucky. It wasn't their fight but they came to lend a hand in making Texas independent.
If you were here during one of our dust storms, you witnessed one of the worst aspects of life here in West Texas. These storms don't happen often, but when they do they can be terrible. But they leave behind more than a few thousand tons of New Mexico topsoil. Some of the most brilliant and beautiful sunsets in the world show up the day after.
