To all:

I appreciate everyone who participates in the discussions here on Source of Title.  There have been many positive threads that help us all understand our businesses a bit better and prepare us for things to come.  However, there have been many posts that are derogatory, insulting, and down right inappropriate for a public, professional, forum.

While I do not censor the forums - mainly because I don't have the time - I am not pleased with the content of some of the posts.  Mainly these posts fall in two categories - religion and politics; neither one really belongs here.  It is clear that some of the posts are only meant to offend others and it serves no useful purpose.

I have received emails from others who have not taken part in the discussions who are upset and have expressed that they have no desire to participate in the forums because of them.  When people are ill behaved they discourage others from contributing to the really important threads - those that focus on the industry and work that we all do.

I ask that you all use a little common sense in your posts here.  If it is not something that thing the majority of our readers would be interested in - send an email and keep it off the forums.  The personal attacks do not belong here.  They not only reflect poorly on the authors, but they detract attention from the positive things that this site has to offer everyone.

I don't mind the occasional off-topic post or personal stories.  We should all be proud to be a part of this community and we should feel free to support each other both personally and professionally.  However, the posts should be kept polite and courteous.
