I just discovered that a client that I have been doing searches for, is now sending their orders to another company that is subbing that work back out to ME. Why would they pay that company $80 for a search that I have been doing for them for $55? Plus, I am still the one doing the search.
Could this be because it is easier for the client to find a company that covers several states? I just cover around 15 counties in my area. But since I had already been doing searches for this company, and for less money, why would they quit sending their searches to me but, pay another company more money for the same search? I really don't understand the reasoning behind this. Any ideas?
