I am what some call a ghost on this website, pop in read the forums, educate myself to what is the latest in the industry, enjoy the topics discussed and add an occasional comment.
I met with Cheryl today at the Escambia courthouse and gave her a introduction to the nice people that work there, went to the basement pulled deed books, mortgage books, worked with microfilm and found out that Cheryl actually worked for a record housing company that stored documents for hospitals, doctors, etc... before the days of paperless storage. I found her to be intelligent, receptive and inquisitive to the process of taking a order start to finish.
Green still, but, I personally would rather take someone that has relative knowledge to the industry and train them in how I conduct my searches and complete my orders so that would learn my way and develop there on process after learning my system and using it as a guide. I feel that we all search differently but reach the same conclusion and we all know that every search is different in its on right.
I would hope that anyone that gave Cheryl a opportunity would have the knowledge to understand that with someone green and new that there is training process that would have to be fulfilled because mistakes even in spelling happen and that is how we all learn, or at least that is how I was taught, and even after the training process is over, if my name goes on the finished product I will proof that order before it is sent to my client.
I have one other person that works for me, what I call my runner and his twin brother passed away just before Memorial day so needless to say this is the first I have seen of what has been posted regarding Cheryl.
Cheryl it was a pleasure meeting you today and look forward to working with you in the future.....I spelled checked had 4 wrong lol
