I remember a discussion a while back, but I can't find it when I search.  Don't some states allow abstractors to file mechanic's liens against the property owners when they aren't paid?  I know my state is NOT one of the so enlightened, but I was wondering what states they were--I'd like to see how the law is written.  Thanks
