As I already told you I use an HP1200 laser printer. I have had this printer since 1999 and it works great with PP11. The other HP is 3 years old and the Brother about 7-8 months. I am baffled why you would be having so much trouble and wish I could offer some help... I thought for sure David (Texas not mine) was on the right path with his suggestion. What is the printer you are using? I mentioned the problem to my David and he suggested you go into your printer properties and check the preferences and then the advanced options and make sure your graphics and document opptions aren't out of wack. Your saying it is printing full black sheets makes us wonder  if you need to reset them. They can be touchy. You might want to consider removing any printers/scanners you no longer use.I know how you feel about tech support... we have not had to get it for PP but I recently tried for help with a Microsoft program. There is none!!! It drove me nuts. If I was in your shoes I would just stick with 10.
