My worst case scenario, which doesn't seem like too much of an improbability after all the events recently.....
-Iran convinces North Korea to antagonize the U.S. and U.N. with it's missile testing and talks of aggression.
- Iran and Syria, in cooperation with Hezbollah, kidnap Israeli soldiers. Israel angered over this, invades Lebanon and bomb several targets throughout the country.
-Hezbollah smuggles the kidnapped soldiers into Iran. Israel immediately demands their release or will use force on Iran.
-Iran tortures and beheads the 2 soldiers, and taunts Israel, who then start a campaign against Iran.
-Iran launches missiles into Israel, which prompts the U.S. into action.
-Iran launches missiles into Iraq. U.S. forces along with Israel, begin a ground war in Iran.
-Several Arab countries denounce the U.S. and Israel's actions, and ally themselves with Iran, Lebanon and Syria.
-Full scale fighting erupts throughout the Middle East.
-North Korea allies itself with Iran, against their common enemy U.S.A.
-Another major bombing by Islamic Radicals in India angers the Indian Govt. against Pakistan, who they claim are backing the militants and not doing anything to stop them. India begin to assemble their military. Pakistan, angered by these remarks, warns that any attack on their soil will result in a war between the 2 nations.
-Pakistani President Musharraf try's to calm tensions, but is assassinated by Islamic Radicals, who eventually form a coup and take control of most of Pakistan. They also now control elements of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal.
-Indian launches a preemptive strike against Pakistan, which causes both sides to launch small scale nuclear weapons upon each other.
-North Korea, with attention drawn away from it, completes their long range missile's, and threaten to launch nuclear weapons at Japan and the U.S.
-North Korea attacks Japan, which causes the U.S. and South Korea to be drawn into the conflict.
-China allies itself with North Korea.
-Full scale war now in the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and now the Korea Peninsula.
Let's all pray that things don't turn out this way, but I have a feeling dark days are ahead......
