Yes we had a great time Scott and it felt good to share a 60 year tradition with our youngest little Nisonger. Hanging out in the redwoods is great for the soul. I am sure many of you have childhood places you love to share with the youngest of your families. Our little guy was delivered back to his mama a little browner, a little taller and in his mind braver... with a few mosquito bites and even more bumps and scraps! Unfortunately his mama was not able to go this year (first time in 31 years) but I don't think she would have let him do half of what we the grandparents did! Forbidden sodas... s'mores for breakfast... jumping off rocks into the river (3ft deep)... you get the picture! Quinton is 5 and starts "real" school next week...
